Under the Battery Act we are obliged to inform you of the following in connection with the sale of batteries or in connection with the delivery of equipment containing rechargeable or disposable batteries:
Waste batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries free of charge to our warehouse at (Josef-Schorer-Str. 11, 86179 Augsburg). As consumers, you are legally obliged to return waste batteries.
Batteries containing harmful substances are provided with a mark consisting of a crossed out dustbin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal determining the classification as a pollutant:
1. "Cd" stands for cadmium.
2. "Hg" stands for Mercury.
3. "Pb" stands for lead.
